About Our Boarding Kennels

Set in 15 acres of glorious Devon countryside, we offer a secure and stimulating environment for your dog.

Each kennel in our purpose-built blocks has comfortable indoors accommodation, along with an outdoors run which is always accessible to your dog during the day. We give your dog plenty of walks through our meadow and woodlands and we work hard to make their pet boarding stay a happy one.

We are easily accessible from North Devon, Mid Devon and the North Cornwall coast. Whether you live in Devon or Cornwall and need to let us take care of your dog for a few days, or you’re visiting the South West and your accommodation doesn’t allow pets, get in touch to book your pets stay.

We are open for boarding collections from 7:00am and drop-offs during the following hours:

Monday to Saturday: 8:00am – 9.30am and 4.30pm – 6:00pm.

Sundays and Bank Holidays: By prior arrangement only.

TYPICAL BOARDING ROUTINE EACH DAY

The day starts early with a comfort break followed by a stimulating walk through the fields and woodland. Walks take place individually or in family groups to allow us to give our full attention to each guest and to ensure the safety of each guest on their holiday.

The first walk of the day is followed by a check and clean of the kennels, then breakfast and time to relax in the kennel or outdoors run.

The kennels are then open for check in and check out. The middle of the day brings a further kennels and welfare check, fresh drinking water, and the second walk of the day or perhaps a free run in our secure fenced paddock. We live on site so are able to pop in at any time to calm any guests who may be feeling anxious or need a little extra attention.

The dogs have access to the outdoor section of their kennel all day, unless it is particularly cold when we may close down the hatches to keep them warm and cosy inside.

Another comfort break takes place later in the afternoon with another walk through the woodlands and pasture, then home for the evening meal and a chance to relax and wind down.

We carry out another check later in the evening then it’s time for a bedtime treat or biscuit, doors closed to the outside runs, and lights out.

The length and times of walks will vary depending on the daylight hours, the weather and the age and ability of the dog. Set within 15 acres there is plenty of choice of footpaths and routes.
